You can see why La Tagliatella have over 170 restaurants worldwide. With a great menu packed full of authentic Italian flavour, you can’t go wrong with dinner at this great establishment. With a great choice of freshly made pasta you will be spoilt for choice. The great thing about La Tagliatella is a great menu for vegetarians, something of a rarity in many other restaurants worldwide. Had the staff not left me waiting at the doorway for 10 minutes, despite it being a quiet period, I would definitely have given La Tagliatella a 4 ★★★★ rating. That said though, food was quick to arrive.


Bacoa ★★★★

Quality food, quality ingredients and quality prices. This Barcelona favourite frequently tops  the list as one of the best hamburgers in the city. With a seasonal menu due to Bacoa’s  commitment to using local produce and a great menu for vegetarians and vegans be sure to  visit this great little establishment.

Rasoterra ★★★★★

Cuisine: Spanish/Vegetarian

I happened to pass Rasoterra by chance walking though Barcelona’s Gotic district. The best thing about Rasoterra is a great menu, packed with local organic produce and seasonal variation at great prices.  Combined with impeccable service and a chilled atmosphere this is definitely worth a visit whilst you are in Barcelona.

This beautifully decorated restaurant is a popular with locals. With its brilliant menu and great service you can see why. Just be prepared for the large price tag at the end of your meal.

Parisii Bistrot, Barcelona ★★★★

They always say, when you find a gem, why go elsewhere? Having found Parisii Bistrot, I went back three days in a row. This place is perfect for those who don’t want to shell out loads for a hotel breakfast Open all day with with a great menu, this bistro opposite the Axel Hotel is most definitely worth a visit. If nothing else, pop inside for a great fresh orange juice!

Arume Barcelona ★★★★★

Mediterranean flavours come together perfectly here. Arume is the kind of place you go to, and having looked at everyone elses food you get insane food envy. With a creative and ambitious menu, friendly staff and located in the trendy part of town, you are definitely bound to have a great meal at Arume.

Repúblic Cafè ★★★★

Despite being away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, Repúblic Cafè is a great place to visit if you are heading to the beach for the day. This small but cute cafè has a cozy atmosphere, outside seating and is just moments away from the beach. Tip: try the goats cheese, rocket and tomato focaccia.
